Ok about the essence. Do you guys use essence to escape the vaettirs (and faster running) or do you need it for faster recharche? Cuz i'm running it without essence. I just use cupcake which is almost like essence just not faster recharche. And using 3 cupcakes is a lot more economical than 3 essences.

Cupcakes, work, but it's extremely risky, as you're trading off a heal for glyph, i use it for speed boost and recharge, if you're running customers, it's better to bring essences, if you're running alone, cupcakes would work, but like i said it's risky, you'll definitely die a lot, and with customers that could potentially be very bad, as they would have to wipe, and would res right by vaettir pop's and it could destroy your run and make people bail. With the heal, you'll never die, making it much easier, and MUCH faster. I would say farm some feathers and dust and buy some essences, or just buy materials/cons whatever, it's paid off by 1 customer, so not a big deal, and absolutely worth it, economical or not, i'm making 62.5k profit each run, and i can do 3 runs in a little bit over an hour. so spending 3 essences a run isn't really a problem. Remember gotta spend money to make money, and with the extra slot and the opportunity to bring a heal, it makes this extremely easy.
edit:
i suppose you could also bring sweets to boost health and etc, or like mentioned in my previous post, a armor of salvation (+10 armor/damage reduction of 5) and this might help w/ vaettirs, but you'll have a tough time breaking aggro, because of essence, you can run right through, and as soon as you use [skill]Dark Escape[/skill] they immediately break aggro, this makes it EXTREMELY easy to cross bridge after lever is pulled to get dungeon key and be able to return safely, so i guess, they're not needed, but it just makes it too easy, and very very very fail proof, so i don't mind.

Glad someone likes it at least
Just a little tip though, u don't have to actually wait for the bridge to come down on lvl1 so no need to stand around in popped vaettirs
Not sure about cupcakes though.. ok, it's good to run slightly faster, but using an essence is great for your energy as well; u don't have to swing around with a scythe to be able to spam GoLE/standard/sliver when fighting, as well as keep your running stance up at all times etc... so I would still say essence ftw ^^

Well i did this run with cupcakes. I had a bit problems with energy but i've made it. My friend is running this quite offen and he's also using cupcakes but he said he doesn't have any probs with energy. But all this also depends how fast do you get boss targeted.

get a zealous scythe, and take short breaks in safe areas, which most of the dungeon is a safe area minus incubi + vaettir's, i never need to regen energy with essence, but sometimes i do it just to be safe before i have to run threw vaettirs, so i'll stop shortly with jotun or dryders and whack a couple times with zealous scythe until energy w/ scythe is full then i switch back to staff.
i can do the entire dungeon w/o dieing and w/o having to regen energy, but like i said, it makes me feel safer when the whole bar's blue right before i'm gonna be the target of signets and IW. i've also noticed, that if i make my customers run as far as they can to bosses res-shrine, that after i kill boss they automatically res, in all of the dungeons runs i've done, never knew that happened. so you don't even have to die, but i bring clovers to buff custies before they hit chest so that there is no problems.
oh and another small tip, about pulling the bosses, i like to hit them with a quick sliver in any area so that they start running, who woulda thought, body of a giant but the heart of a mouse, but when they're fleeing i pursue until i get them in a corner or against a static object then i pin them and blow them up, and also, since i've kegged a few stacks last week, i been popping eggs at the bosses, just for a tiny tiny tiny bit of a boost on sliver, i suppose it doesnt make a difference, but hey more damage the better i guess. good luck

i love it, just burned up 18 essences last night (6 runs), stocked up on 40 more, and gonna grind it again tonight.
two customers got q9 violets on there first runs ever was a little sad, as i've only gotten one q11.
and one customer got a q9 healing cobalt on his 4th run w/ me.
although, i did get a q9 fellblade on my last run of the night, w/ a perf enchant mod, and a couple leet war tomes + 2 Greens, but i always drop the greens/tomes for the customers at the end of the run as a nice bonus.
i would upload screens but i'm currently at work
i did wan't to ask you though, when i'm getting my customers the quest, i dont use an essence for the run there, or to get them quest, so i zone to jaga and back, then i have them carefully follow me avoiding aggro to quest, i take the quick route which is behind the immediate res shrine then towards the dungeon and to the left, but i have to go between the 3 summit spawns, sometimes customers are idiots and aggro, so my question is, if you're willing to share of course, is there a safer way to get them there? or should i just pop an essence and pull and tank aggro while they slip by? i may upload my screens later into a small guide, so that you can see what i'm talking about.
oh and interested in dualing any dungeons? i have a few friends that i go w/ but always looking for more partners, 50/50 split on high-end dungeons. lemme know! and thanks again!

Well, that's the only "safe" way to get the quest (the other way around, coming from the east, is quite lethal). don't waste an essence on it, someone's usually carrying rebirth to get them up

ty
as long as the groups listen, been getting quests no problem w/ nobody dying, it's when people decide to run ahead w/o listening and they usually end up aggroing summit and pulling them to rest of the patient people.

Too lazy to quote whoever, but regd the argument over essences in Darkrime Delves, I can make it past the Vaettirs every time without essences or cupcakes. It requires timing for ur skills of course, but I dont see whats so hard about it.
If u want to do something in game, I'd be happy to do a run.

As I posted a while back, it's not about how it can or can't be done, it's about the amount of time you have to spend in the dungeon.. Too lazy to read the discussion as well, are we? ;p

I did...and honestly, celerity only saves maybe 5-10 mins all up, especially with cupcakes. Maybe a few mins slower without.
Anyway forget all that...I have question about Rragars...how the fk do people manage energy with QZ up and tank him? I die a lot due to energy problems at him. :/

No need for QZ when doing Rragars. Me and my gf has done it numerous times using a 600/Smite/Perma setup. For Rragar, cast succor on the perma and let it take him down before stepping out and then the 600 finishes off Hidesplitter (Also speeds things up as the perma and smite can go ahead to kill Rragar while the 600 gets payed at the shrine)

Mind sharing build for perma? I'm curious as to a perma that can solo him.
And the reason for QZ at rragars is that he rapes you with esurge and shatter enchants without spell breaker.

No need QZ at Rragar's. Just use another SBr. When i'm running it my friend is perma and he rezones as soon as i get dungeon key. It's like rly fast (under 30min).
And for Raven's. I think that it's better to farm/run it on HM just because of dmg you get to trigger SB. Also i think that NM isn't faster than HM. The only prob there are incubuses and vaettir spawns (IW).

For Rragar...unless I'm mistaken, you cannot run it after you get the key anymore because you have to carry a keg and carrying a keg, you lose out on the 20% enchantment.
I haven't tried it, but I don't think you will make it even with cupcake + Dwarven Stability(100%) + Dash: Cast GoS+DP+SF, grab keg, use Dash whenever available, cast SF only since there is no point because you're holding onto a keg, blow up door, and hope you make it to the exit before SF ends.
This is assuming you survive against all the enemies near the keg/shrine area.
For Level 2, a perma can run all of it.

Any Sliver Perma can kill Rragar... he's easy (bring standard and have the smite cast succor though, it will take a loooooong time otherwise)
As for running Rragar's first level, it's hell but can be doable with the correct timing.. First of all, lure the oozes and the first charr patrol into the Fleshreavers or you will find it kinda hard to survive due to Seekers and blobs.
2nd, recast SF and grab the keg just as the 600 starts fighting the Warden or Rragar. Timing is the key here, you want the boss to die (aka morale boost) when you just recast SF with the keg (you should be in the middle or just past the charr group with the mender and flameshielders). Next SF cast should be right before dropping the keg, then run for it towards the door. If you're lucky u loose agro where u drop the keg, but don't bet on it, otherwise the next safe spot is at the door.
This run is hard/tricky to do, and u need to know exactly what the 600 is doing as well as you should bring a great portion of luck. (Having the tank seated 3m behind you is a great way to know what's going on, voicechat is another..)
Can't count the times I've gotten a single necro blob following me, touching me in very very bad places... Anyhow, practice makes perfect so keep trying!
As someone mentioned, entire lvl2 can be run by a perma, and u can also help on lvl3 by running ahead to the room before the mini-bosses (with the wall that shatters). Gather up the mobs there, sliver ftw and make sure to kill the seeker before he kills you. Nothing hard for the 600 to do anyway, but gives you something to do while waiting ^_^

I usually run there with my 600, it's easy when you get the hang of it. You can run to the first res shrine without aggroing any krait, then you should head left to the next isle, hug the mountain and wait for a patrol to pass by. Now you will probably aggro the oakhearts or another group of kraits. You can just run to the portal while tanking them (if you need the quest, just rezone after you enter). Remember to use SBr as they can hex you with Sum of All Fears (it's not a big problem though) and try not to cast shield of absorption if you don't have SBr up, as they can interrupt you with power leech and you could have energy problems
